This class will be ran in small conditions in order to start getting a feeling for the strategies needed for rock gardening. And will give you a great introduction to one of the most dynamic and exciting styles of paddling. You get introduced to pour-overs (riding waves over rocks), learn how to use larger rocks for protection, work on judgment, timing and maneuvering in and around the rocks. This class will take place in Tillamook Bay, unless we have a rare winter day when the outer coast is accessible with small conditions.
