There are core skill needed in order to become a self sufficient paddler in coastal conditions
The first part of this class will be in calm water and focus on refining core strokes for efficient control of your kayak, then will continue by refining bracing and self and assisted rescues. We will then, depending on conditions, head beyond the surf zone and apply these skills in open water, if conditions are to large to get beyond the surf we will continue to work on skills in the surf.
Class Level For the competent Intermediate paddler looking to improve to advanced
* Prerequisite: *Intro to Surf Zone class or equivalent experience is required.
Location: Cascade Head Oregon
Time: To secure parking we will meet at 8:30am
Cost $130 Plus 6% booking company fee. (Minimum enrollment 3 - Max 5 students) If class fills we may add an additional instructor and open 1 more spot.
