This 3 day instructional trip is planned for Sunset Bay Oregon and includes camping at no extra charge. The venue offers access to coastal rocks in a wide variety of ocean conditions.

This course is geared toward paddlers with some surf zone and rough water experience who want to increase comfort, and refine their skills in coastal waters.
We will be working on reading water, timing our way through transition zones and practical application of strokes and maneuvers in rock gardens, surf and wind. This will also be a good chance to test you combat roll in conditions, however a roll is not required for this class.
*A surf zone class or some experience in surf is required for this trip. I will be running surf zone classes late spring into summer.*
We will focus on paddling as a team and working onthe skills to help out when someone is in need. Current coastal paddlers can also get a lot out of this class as each student will be have the opportunity to be individually challenged increasing and developing their skills. Arrive anytime on Thursday, we have nothing planned for that day. We will get on the water for a full day of paddling on Friday & Saturday followed by a shorter day Sunday morning. Pending conditions we may travel to other destinations on the coast one day.
Camping Included: We have reserved campsites at Sunset Bay for Thursday 7/2 - Saturday night. (Extra car fees charged at park not included)
